For an increasing number of people, a warming world is affecting their decisions about whether or not to have kids. As the conversation about parenting amidst climate change heats up, we meet activists, journalists, caregivers, parents and prospective parents, ethicists, and scientists who are unpacking this growing trend.

Deciding whether to have a child is an emotionally fraught and deeply personal process. Deciding amid increasingly dire warnings about climate change makes it even more daunting. This film explores the state of what to expect when you’re expecting climate change. Following our founder, Dr. Britt Wray, as she delves into this multi-faceted issue, we encounter a diverse and fascinating array of women at the forefront of this field.
